What is hair loss?
Lustrous and voluminous hair is everyone's dream.But regardless of male and female, most of the people face the condition of hair loss and hence suffer from mental stress.Hair loss or Alopecia is defined as excessive shedding or thinning of hair from the scalp or other parts of the body.In certain circumstances, it may fluctuate due to weather, water used, illness and mood.However,when there is more hair loss for a long period of time, it should be treated as a disease.

Following a balanced diet is essential to reduce hair loss.Try eating foods rich in biotin, zinc, iron, vitamin E, vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Protein-rich eggs, nuts, and pulses also protect hair health.Eggs are rich in biotin, protein, zinc, iron and selenium which help in hair growth.Eat eggs, fish, dairy products and beef that contain vitamin B12 and vitamin D, which are essential for hair growth.Walnut, almond and avacado fruits contain vitamin E, so it is very good for hair growth. It is also good to include cod liver oil which contains vitamin D.
Carrots contain high amounts of biotin and beta-carotene, which are also good for hair health.Avocados are rich in mono-saturated fats, which nourish the scalp.Sweet potatoes and mushrooms, which are rich in biotin, can help reduce hair fall and promote hair growth.
Fatty fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids, salmon and sardines rich in biotin are good for hair health.Almonds and peanuts are also rich in biotin.Along with these, small fish, chicken and gooseberry are also good for hair health.Drinking plenty of water is good for the whole body and hair growth.
